55th INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL
The upcoming festival once again promises a week full of music and special moments. Look forward to musical highlights, new events, and tried-and-true festival experiences: from the concert by Brass Band Berlin at the Kulturpalast, which blends classical music and traditional jazz, to the Prohibition Party at the Parkhotel and the one-of-a-kind Riverboat Shuffle. The Jazz Mile with its Open Stage and the traditional Dixieland Parade as the festival finale will also be part of the program.
Dresden, May 2026: Eight days that count
The 54th INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL Dresden is history. And it was good again. Yes, we count our visitors; that’s one side of the story. The other cannot be expressed in numbers: fans and visitors of all ages, from Dresden, Europe, and Australia, regulars and first-time guests. They all showed us why this festival exists and why it must exist. For that, we say thank you. Loudly and from the heart.
