Our festival mascot Dixie is turning 40 – and would like to celebrate this special birthday with lots of children. We cordially invite your kindergarten and preschool group to the Dixieland ABC as part of the International Dixieland Festival.
The Dixieland ABC is a joyful, interactive revue where children experience music firsthand: they clap, sing, rattle, laugh, and create their own birthday music with simple sounds. With plenty of imagination, movement, and fun, listening becomes a shared musical experience.
Since 1987, the Dixieland ABC has been an integral part of our festival, playfully inspiring children with rhythm, instruments and making music together.
Discounted tickets can be ordered for groups of children and their accompanying adults. A notice: Following the renovation of the circular cinema, fewer seats are available than in previous years. Therefore, if you would like to attend with your group, we recommend booking in advance using our online form.
You can also download a DIN A4 poster for your board to print yourself. Feel free to display it in your facility or distribute it to interested parents and colleagues.
