Dresden Jazz Mile secured for the long term!
WT Energiesysteme GmbH as sponsor of the Dresden Jazz Mile
We are pleased to announce welcome news for all jazz lovers and music enthusiasts: the traditional Dresden Jazz Mile has been secured for the years ahead as well. This is above all thanks to the generous financial support of WT Energiesysteme GmbH, a local company in the energy sector, which is making a major contribution to the continuation of this cultural highlight. From 2025, WT Energiesysteme GmbH will become the title sponsor of the Dresden Jazz Mile.
The INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL, held every year in the heart of Dresden, attracts not only countless Dresden residents but also national and international visitors. Jazz enthusiasts from all over the world gather to enjoy the exhilarating sounds of Dixieland jazz and experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The Dresden Jazz Mile is a central part of the festival and provides artists and bands with a platform to showcase their talent and delight the audience.
Thanks to the support of WT Energiesysteme GmbH, the Jazz Mile will not only be preserved but can also be expanded in the future. This opens up new opportunities for exciting performances and other events that enrich the musical program and increase the festival’s appeal.
The people responsible at WT Energiesysteme GmbH, in particular Managing Director Mr. Dietmar Tietz, are demonstrating through their commitment not only an interest in cultural activities but also their aim to promote the city of Dresden as a global center for traditional jazz. Their contribution will ensure that festivalgoers can continue to enjoy high-caliber, free musical performances.
With this positive development, all fans of the Dixieland Festival have every reason to rejoice. Anticipation for the next editions of the Dresden Jazz Mile can begin! The spirit of jazz, community, and passion for music will continue to resound through the streets of Dresden and touch people’s hearts.
At this point, a heartfelt THANK YOU from all the organizers and on behalf of all visitors!
