On June 20, 2025, Street Jazz Night featuring the OhnO! Jazzband from the Netherlands was a guest at Palais Sommer on Dresden’s Neumarkt. The concert was created in cooperation with the INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL Dresden and presented a program from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. that combined classic New Orleans jazz, Dixieland, swinging blues, and modern brass elements.
Neumarkt was very well attended. In pleasant summer weather, the audience stayed engaged throughout the evening and responded clearly to the music. The open atmosphere of Palais Sommer suited the character of the event: concert and public urban space came together without much separation.
The OhnO! Jazzband is already familiar to Dresden audiences from several performances at the INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL Dresden. Once again, the band impressed with precise, energetic interplay and a distinctive artistic signature. This includes their striking, individually designed stage presentation, which makes the band as recognizable as their fresh, direct sound.
