Dixieland Christmas greetings

Ein völlig wirres Jahr neigt sich endlich dem Ende entgegen. Die kommenden Tage sollen uns allen ein wenig Abstand zu dem bringen, was uns fast ein Jahr lang wie ein böser Schatten verfolgt hat.



Viele von Ihnen haben uns in den vergangenen Monaten geschrieben und von ihrer großen Enttäuschung erzählt, seit Jahrzehnten einen Mai ohne "ihr Dixieland-Festival" erleben zu müssen. Aber Sie haben uns auch Mut gemacht, Mut zum Weitermachen, dass das Jubiläumsfestival im Mai 2021 bestimmt stattfinden und das dieses Festival dann ein ganz besonders schönes Dixieland-Festival werden würde.
In 2020, our two “Dixie bright spots” offered a small consolation: with the DIXIELAND FAMILY BBQ at the end of August and the RIVERBOAT SUMMER SPECIAL CRUISE 2020 in September, at least a hint of the Dixieland Festival made its way through the Elbe valley.

Thank you very much for your many kind words, your trust, and your support! Now we are all somehow in the starting blocks together and waiting ...

Due to the current regulations, a board meeting with the drawing of the winners has not yet been possible. So if you took part, you will need to be a little patient a while longer. Perhaps we will have some good news for you soon!

All that remains is to say goodbye until next year and hope that the dark corona clouds will have cleared soon.
