The charming Feldschlößchen Stammhaus on Budapester Straße has been shining in new splendor since 2023 and invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world of indulgence and tradition. The tavern, which opened in 1998 in the last remaining building of the Lagerbierbrauerei am alten Feldschlößchen, founded in 1838, has long established itself as a popular meeting place for connoisseurs and beer lovers. Here, guests not only celebrate and feast, but also enjoy freshly tapped beer from Dresden’s famous Feldschlößchen brewery.

The Stammhaus kitchen presents hearty and original fare, using fresh produce from regional suppliers of the highest quality. The menu* offers both traditional Saxon dishes and contemporary delicacies created around the beloved brew. Highlights include the Brewmaster’s Schnitzel and the crispy grilled pork knuckle. Guests are warmly invited to bring their thirst for beer and fully enjoy the rustic atmosphere of the Stammhaus with good food, a cold beer, and lively Dixieland music.

A very special experience is offered by the Beer Museum, located under the roof of the Feldschlößchen Stammhaus. In this permanent exhibition on the brewing history of Dresden and the surrounding area, visitors can explore three floors and discover the fascinating world of beer. Every exhibit has been assembled with great attention to detail, and a visit is well worth it. Those who make their way up to the exhibition will quench their thirst for knowledge and gain exciting insights into old traditions. On 120 m², guests can expect historical brewing equipment, photographs, engravings, posters, and advertising signs—a true treasure trove for beer lovers and history enthusiasts.
