Löwensaal Dresden:

What a magnificent hall of a bank building, a testament to the changing times, right in the heart of Dresden: Opened in 1905, the Deutsche Bank building impressed even then with its light-filled atrium, marble staircase, and vault in the basement. Thanks to its steel frame construction, the building survived the bombings of the Second World War largely unscathed. Rebuilt in 1946 and 1947 as the Saxon State Bank, it remains the only representative building from the turn of the century to survive in this area. After German reunification, Dresdner Bank took over the building and initially renovated the banking hall, the foyer, and the entrance hall.
After a period of vacancy and several changes of ownership, the building underwent extensive renovations again by 2019. Since spring 2020, it has presented itself as an attractive event venue with the LÖWENSAAL.
